totem armor and shield counters are antisynergy persist and undying, however... the few equipment that leave counters on equipped creature can be passed around bounce facedown spells back to your hand to be replayed later! light the way might just be one of the most perfect cards for this idea.

I wish i could add Gryffs Boon or Shepherd of the Flock. :/
