So the main combo is a turn 4 play that consists of having a Gravecrawler out then sacrificing it to Eldritch Evolution, fetching a Diregraf Colossus then playing the Gravecrawler from the graveyard and getting a zombie token from the play. I know this isn't exactly a game winning combo but it feels like it has good value for a turn 4 play!
Other synergies in the deck are:
Discard theme:
Using Lotleth Troll or Cryptbreaker to discard Gravecrawler makes any Diregraf Colossus being played stronger.
Tribal Buffs:
Lord of the Undead to buff all those zombies or fetch them back from the graveyard.
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed to buff all the zombies and give them a chance to come back stronger.
Eldritch Evolution:
Eldritch Evolution can be used on Gravecrawler or Relentless Dead to fetch Diregraf Colossus or Lord of the Undead.
Eldritch Evolution can be used on Relentless Dead to fetch Ebondeath, Dracolich, the activated abilities of Relentless Dead allow him to go back to my hand from or put other zombies in the graveyard back into play.
Eldritch Evolution can be used on Ebondeath, Dracolich to fetch Mikaeus, the Unhallowed
Planeswalker and graveyard synergies
Liliana, the Last Hope allows for more graveyard filling, gets creature cards back from the graveyard and her ultimate ability could flood the board.
Liliana, Untouched By Death adds to the graveyard filling and you can use her ultimate ability right away to play any zombies that have been milled, discarded or killed back into play.
Grisly Salvage is a nice early play that gets a land or creature you need and fill up the graveyard.
Amulet of Vigor stops Ebondeath, Dracolich and the zombie toked from Diregraf Colossus coming in tapped.
I know the deck would be better as mono black and doesn't need the Lotleth Troll but I just love the card and Eldritch Evolution synergy with the deck! It's only a casual deck and most of the cards are from my collection and I only play the deck against freinds and down my local gaming club but I'm just looking for any advice to help it play a bit better!
One last note! I know the land choice may seem a bit weird not having full playsets but I will get some more copies of cards like Overgrown Tomb or whatever you can suggest!
