An Eldrazi tribal "Birthing Pod" deck that uses Pyre of Heroes since Birthing Pod is banned in Modern. This deck focuses on trying to get as much value as you can out of creatures entering and exiting the battlefield while progressively bringing out bigger and scarier threats.

The lower CMC creatures like Blisterpod and Matter Reshaper are really helpful early game spells that set me up to be in a better position for the mid game. Blisterpod helps me get some early ramp to help me cast bigger spells from my hand sooner while Matter Reshaper can dig into my deck which can get me more ramp by finding lands, or help me find my engine pieces, Pyre of Heroes or Eldritch Evolution.

The middle range CMC creatures like Thought-Knot Seer and Reality Smasher are good, large body threats that double as hand disruption.

The 6 CMC creatures, Deepfathom Skulker, Endbringer, and Conduit of Ruin, are my toolbox utility creatures that I can Pyre into in the mid game so I can grab whichever one I need most for whichever situation I find myself in.

I chose Bane of Bala Ged and Dread Defiler as my 7 drops because Bane seemed like the best value for that slot, and Dread Defiler could repurpose the creatures in my graveyard by exiling them for extra damage.

Last, I have Elder Deep-Fiend as my 8 CMC creature because its tap ability alone can win you the game in the mid to late game, and also because its emerge ability acts as it’s own Pyre effect.
