Sideboard

Been meaning to build a lifedrain deck for a while now.

The point is pretty straight-forward. If possible, set up an infinite lifedrain combo, pairing Exquisite Blood with either Sanguine Bond or the second ability of Vizkopa Guildmage .

Meanwhile, there are other cards that allow you to pull off substantial lifedrain combos and kill your opponents without ever completing the infinite combo.

For example, If you had a creature with an Ordeal of Heliod attached to it, and were able to get 2 counters on it, you may be able to deliver a HUGE blow the next turn. You could trigger Vizkopa Guildmage s second ability (or drop a Sanguine Bond ), then swing to put the third counter on the creature. When that happens, you sacrifice the ordeal, gain 10 life, and your opponent(s) lose(s) 10 life. If you have a Tainted Sigil on the field, that could easily be game.

While you are trying to get a combo going, the Dawn Charm s and Mortify s help you to stall and protect yourself & your creatures.

I have been tinkering with the deck on here, and would like some suggestions before buying the cards I am missing. Let me know what you think of the deck. Thanks.
