This is a fairly straightforward deck built around +1/+1 counters, provided by Hardened Scales and Winding Constrictor . The objective is to create a several huge threats that cannot easily be dealt with, and use trample and flying to force damage through. Because I can continually place counters on my creatures, they can easily surpass the size of more traditional creatures like Tarmogoyf.

Main wincons are Slumbering Dragon , Avatar of the Resolute and Managorger Hydra , as they grow the fastest and are harder to block than other large creatures like the Bloodhall Ooze .

Unfortunately due to budget restrictions, I am unable to run fetchlands, though I am slowly working my way to them. Similarly, shock lands are also difficult for me to obtain. Any budget suggestions are welcome.

As for sideboard choices, Hammer of Purphoros has a dual purpose to help me more effectively race aggro decks while also giving me additional creatures in longer matchups. Olivia similarly provides me haste, while also conveniently adding +1/+1 counters and a flying body to attack with. Alpine Moon is primarily for holding down tron or manlands while damping sphere cuts off combo. Fling help push the last few points of damage through in tight matches, or in an emergency can be used in the place of Setessan Tactics as removal for large creature threats. Ancient Grudge and Destructive revelry fill the same role, though the revelry can remove enchantments as well.
