Indulging Patrician
Creature — Vampire Noble
Flying
Lifelink (Damage dealt by this creature also causes you to gain that much life.)
At the beginning of your end step, if you gained 3 or more life this turn, each opponent loses 3 life.

I have replaced the two copies of Deathbringer Liege in this deck with two copies of Indulging Patrician, which reduced the average converted mana cost of this deck from 2.81 to 2.69, since the liege was simply a flying beater, while the patrician actually has a useful ability.

Valengeta, that definitely makes sense, to me.
Have you also considered Vito, Fanatic of Aclazotz, Indulging Patrician, Markov Purifier, Ruthless Lawbringer, Verrak, Warped Sengir, or Vona, Butcher of Magan, or do they not fit the theme of this deck?

The Thief of Sanity set doesn't really focus the life gain strategy, and the Dimir Guildgates mostly slow down your production. They're fun cards, but I would use them in a different deck. At 65 cards, cutting those eight, one Revenge of Ravens, and replacing the lands with or sources would improve speed and consistency.
Some smaller tweaks would be to drop a second Revenge of Ravens for a fourth Ajani's Pridemate, adding some more removal, and maybe another life gain payoff like Indulging Patrician.

If I may offer some feedback:
For Rona, Sheoldred's Faithful, the discard recursion won't be especially useful without either much more draw power or a graveyard subtheme. Monstrous War-Leech would also benefit from a greater graveyard theme. I would save those cards for a different deck.
In general, you have a lot of cards that want you cast a lot of instants and sorceries (Rona, Raff, Weatherlight Stalwart, Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator), but only nine instants and sorceries.
Building off of what PassedPawn said, there's a little bit of graveyard filling and recursion, a little bit of spellslinging with instants and sorceries, and a little bit of life drain. There's potential for at least two, maybe three separate decks here, each with a different focus. If you want to go with life drain, go all in on it. The Sheoldred, the Apocalypses are an excellent build-around card. Cards like Cliffhaven Vampire, Indulging Patrician, and Queza, Augur of Agonies, supported by forced draw effects like Blood Pact, Folio of Fancies, and Reckless Scholar would help develop Sheoldred into a powerhouse.

Nice list, I was thinking of changing my vamps deck to Elenda.
I would think about taking out Pitiless Pontiff for Indulging Patrician given the ammount of potential lifegain you're running and you have plenty of sac outlets.
Pawn of Ulamog also seems strong as the tokens can immediately sac themselves for extra triggers. Maybe take out Solemn Simulacrum as it's lackluster compared to some of your other pieces.
I also find Phyrexian Arena generally overrated and Herald's Horn might work better as 90% of your creatures are vampire and most have at least 1 generic, unless the reveal clause is an issue.
Other than that, seems pretty tight.

Update: I made 4+4 Soul sisters and exchanged Indulging Patrician to Kambal, Consul of Allocation. It plays much better now.
I decided to stay with Revitalize, cause it plays well with Lone Rider Flip and doesnt make me lose the card after playing.
I will also keep Ajani for now, cause it works good versus board swipes, creating creature tokens when I am left with no other creature options.

Dimir Vampire Control Splashed With W

This is an interesting idea. I do have some questions, though.
Do the Ephemerates have any use beyond protecting your creatures? If not, Gods Willing might be a better option.
The mill cards can be replaced by more dedicated removal and creatures. Silverquill Pledgemage works with your instants and sorceries, Indulging Patrician is solid, and Blood Baron of Vizkopa can be a powerful finisher.
To be honest, a lot of the cards seem out of place. Would you be willing to make it just ? You get almost the same range of control options, it's in color for a lot of Vampires, and it will focus and tighten you deck.
Good luck, and have fun!

Liesa: No Pain, No (Life)Gain

clircrazy, glad you are still interested! While Tovolar, Dire Overlord Flip is interesting, I was pretty underwhelmed by the number of werewolves released in this set, there were almost as many vampires. If that holds true for the vampire set, then we'll see. I also am hoping for some more cards from the vampire set for Liesa, as vampires are all about draining their enemies of life.
As for Karma, I prefer running drain because not only do the 3 enemy decks hurt me, but my commander also hurts me. Having the life gain also allows stuff like Well of Lost Dreams, Bolas's Citadel, Indulging Patrician, etc to work better than straight up life loss. Karma could definitely work, but its not exactly the direction I want to go.
