Becoming day/night does not use the stack and cannot be responded to.)

I’m trying to figure out the order of operation for day/night and Tovolar, Dire Overlord  ^Flip. Say I have Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge  ^Flip and at least two other wolf/werewolf creatures on the field, and another player plays two spells. The next turn, it becomes Day and Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge  ^Flip transforms back to Tovolar, Dire Overlord  ^Flip.

Does Tovolar, Dire Overlord  ^Flip immediately just transform back into Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge  ^Flip if it still has two other wolves on the field at the beginning of upkeep or does the “At the beginning of your upkeep” ability not trigger because the initial transformation happened at the beginning of the upkeep?
