Light and Shadow

Casual WB (Orzhov)

DemonDragonJ

Since black and white are the two colors that are best at gaining life, this deck has a great focus on gaining life.

As with my other two-colored decks, this deck has the appropriate liege and demigod aura (Deathbringer Liege and Edge of the Divinity, respectively), and, as with my other two-colored decks, it originally had 70 cards, before I reduced it to the ideal 60 cards. Among the cards that I removed were one copy each of Castigate and Gerrard's Verdict, two copies each of Vizkopa Guildmage, Vampire Nighthawk, and Divinity of Pride, one Plains, and one Swamp.

This is also my only two-colored deck to not contain a legendary creature, which is unfortunate, since black and white are my two favorite colors in this game and there are plenty of amazing black/white legendary creatures, but there were none that were perfect for this deck. Kambal, Consul of Allocation is very nice, but I am not certain what cards I could remove to make room for him. This deck originally contained four copies of Unmake, but I replaced them with Anguished Unmaking after that card was released, as it is almost entirely superior.
