Counters, Counters Everywhere

Avatar of the Resolute strikes me as bad-ass. Straight up killa!
Some creatures to consider: Hada Freeblade, Kazandu Blademaster, Champion of the Parish, Mikaeus, the Lunarch. - Note - these are all humans, which will trigger the Champion. Also opens the door to Bonds of Faith as a utility spell.
Non-Human creatures to consider: Scavenging Ooze, Predator Ooze, Protean Hydra. I realize all these creatures cost $1-$3, which, while not crazy expensive, does add up. I think you've already got some decent creatures, so choosing a full set of 1 or 2 of these creatures wouldn't be as costly as building a deck from scratch with them.
You might also consider Savage Summoning for the sideboard against blue control. Then you can drop Terra Stomper.
I suggest you cut Joraga Auxiliary. It's basically a 2/3 for CWG. That just sucks. CCCCWG for 2 counters?! That's terrible!
Similarly, Guardian Shield-Bearer strikes me as just bad. Essentially paying 7 for a +1/+1 counter and a 3/2 creature is no bargain. Alternately, not playing it as megamorph is equally bad - a 2/1 for CG isn't good.
I'd run Tuskguard Captain over Rhox Maulers. A full set of a 5 drop is awfully ambitious, especially without a ramp.
Slitherhead might be another cheap option for a creature.
