Hey guys, I was trying to make a pretty decent Affinity Deck while only having a budget of $40 in total. This is what I have so far.2 Crumbling Necropolis 4 Cranial Plating 4 Chromatic Star 2 Lodestone Myr 4 Welding Jar 4 Frogmite 4 Myr Enforcer 4 Atog 4 Ornithopter 4 Springleaf Drum 4 Thoughtcast 4 Disciple of the Vault 4 Mana Leak 4 Island 4 Mountain 4 Swamp

I am going to upgrade the lands into artifact lands (Glimmervoids for the Necropolis') once i get the money. Also, I'm going to add Etched Champions when i get the money. Thanks for any and all feedback!

Do you want it to be tournament legal?

The thing is that in legacy tournaments, Disciple of the Vault is banned (and maybe the artifact lands too?), and in the new modern format, Disciple is okay, but all of the artifact lands are banned.

Yea i heard that too.. but one my friends has a really good affinity deck (like $300-$400 dollars pumped into it) and does tournaments (which he can still use the lands) so id just do whatever type of tournaments those are. also i might take out disciples for Phyrexian Walker or Shield Sphere

take out the Chromatic Star and Atog , affinity play by speed and volume (number of creatures), not sacrifice.

the cards i'm going to list are all staple affinity deck cards, just pick and choose which ones you like best and we can then work from there.

Vault of Whispers , Seat of the Synod , Ancient Den , Great Furnace , Myr Enforcer , Thoughtcast , Glimmervoid , Ornithopter , Frogmite , Memnite , Master of Etherium , Broodstar (easier to get than master of etherium), Tempered Steel , and Signal Pest .

i've seen a lot of Springleaf Drum and Spellskite getting more use, you can also try Mycosynth Golem if you want to push out bigger stuff like Darksteel Colossus .

i hope this helps.

a cheaper and must funnier thing to use instead of Darksteel Colossus would be Darksteel Forge , that is if you're interested :3

Thanks for the feedback, the only problems with Glimmervoids, Master of Etheriums, Broodstars, Mycosynth Golem, and Spellskite, along with the two Darksteels is how much they cost at my local card store =(
