My house rule is that for each source that deals damage or "mills" the horde then the horde "mills" one card (opposed to normal milling and milling one card for each point of damage dealt to it). Lifegain puts cards from horde's graveyard ontop of it's deck again. If a card in the graveyard has flashback the horde will flash it back at the beginning of its next turn. This leads to more balanced and less "snowbally" games.
