Elvish Skysweeper
High-school senior Elvish Skysweeper lives with his Mad Auntie and Uncle Istvan in an Auntie's Hovel, and is a school outcast and bully victim. On a school field trip, he visits a genetics laboratory with his friend Stromkirk Noble and unwitting love interest Elvish Eulogist. There, Elvish Skysweeper is bitten by a Deadly Recluse. Shortly after arriving home, he becomes ill and falls unconscious.
Indulgent Aristocrat
Meanwhile, Stromkirk Noble's father, scientist Indulgent Aristocrat, owner of Oscorp, is trying to secure an important military weapons contract. He experiments on himself with an unstable performance-enhancing chemical. After absorbing the chemical, he goes insane, kills his assistant and destroys the Evolution Vat.
Spider-Man
The next morning, Elvish Skysweeper finds that he is no longer near-sighted, and his body has Metamorphosis(z)ed into a more muscular physique. At school, he finds that his body can produce Webs from the wrists, and his quickened reflexes let him avoid injury during a confrontation with Goblin Bully. Elvish Skysweeper discovers he has developed superhuman speed, strength, the ability to stick to surfaces, and a heightened ability to sense danger.
Istvan's Death
Brushing off Uncle Istvan's advice that "with great power comes great responsibility," Elvish Skysweeper considers impressing Elvish Eulogist with a Fleetwheel Cruiser. He enters a Barbarian Ring and wins his first match, but the promoter cheats him out of his prize money. When a Rummaging Goblin suddenly raids the promoter's office, Elvish Skysweeper allows him to escape as payback. Moments later, he discovers that Uncle Istvan has been carjacked and shot, dying in Elvish Skysweeper's arms. Elvish Skysweeper pursues, subdues and confronts the carjacker, only to realize it was the thief he let escape. The Rummaging Goblin attempts to flee but falls from a window and dies. Meanwhile, a crazed Indulgent Aristocrat interrupts a military experiment and, using weaponry from his research, kills several scientists and the military's General Slocum.
Goblin's Attack
Upon graduating, Elvish Skysweeper begins using his abilities to fight crime, donning a costume and the persona of Spider-Man. Indulgent Aristocrat, upon learning Oscorp's board members plan to sell the company, attacks them at the Inventors' Fair (Kaladesh spoiler). Elvish Skysweeper intervenes as Spider-Man, but not before Indulgent Aristocrat kills the board members. The Goblin Turncoat offers Spider-Man a place at his side, but Spider-Man refuses. They fight, and Spider-Man is wounded. At Thanksgiving dinner, Mad Auntie invites Elvish Eulogist, Stromkirk Noble, and Indulgent Aristocrat. During the dinner, Indulgent Aristocrat sees the wound and deduces Spider-Man's identity. Shortly after he leaves, Goblin Turncoat attacks, and hospitalizes Mad Auntie.
Spider-Man's Weakness
Elvish Eulogist admits to Elvish Skysweeper she is infatuated with Spider-Man, who has rescued her on numerous occasions, and asks Elvish Skysweeper whether Spider-Man ever asked about her. Stromkirk Noble, who loves Elvish Eulogist, arrives and interprets that she has feelings for Elvish Skysweeper. Defeated, Stromkirk Noble laments to his father that Elvish Skysweeper loves Elvish Eulogist, unintentionally revealing Spider-Man's weakness.
Goblin's Death
Goblin Turncoat kidnaps and holds Elvish Eulogist alongside the Mosswort Bridge, challenging Elvish Skysweeper to another confrontation. Spider-Man manages to save Elvish Eulogist, while the Goblin Turncoat is pelted and heckled by civilians who have sided with Spider-Man. The Goblin Turncoat then redirects the fight into an Opulent Palace where they battle. After a severe beating Elvish Skysweeper manages to overpower the Goblin Turncoat. Indulgent Aristocrat reveals himself to Spider-Man to halt the fight. He begs for forgiveness, but at the same time programs his Bog Glider to impale his foe from behind. Sensing the danger, Spider-Man instinctively dodges, and the glider impales Indulgent Aristocrat. As he dies, Indulgent Aristocrat asks Elvish Skysweeper not to tell Stromkirk Noble of the Goblin Turncoat's identity. Spider-Man takes Indulgent Aristocrat's body back to his house. Stromkirk Noble arrives to find Spider-Man standing over his father's body and believes him to have murdered his father.
Friendzone
At Indulgent Aristocrats funeral, Stromkirk Noble swears vengeance toward Spider-Man, whom he deems responsible for his father's death, and asserts that Elvish Skysweeper is all the family he has left. Elvish Eulogist confesses to Elvish Skysweeper that she is in love with him. Elvish Skysweeper, however, feels that he must protect her from the unwanted attentions of Spider-Man's enemies (Mizzium Meddler, Pit Raptor, Primeval Shambler, Rampart Crawler, Sand Golem, ...). He hides his true feelings, and tells Elvish Eulogist that they can only be friends. As Elvish Skysweeper leaves the funeral, he recalls Uncle Istvan's words, and accepts his new responsibility as Spider-Man.

Idea
The idea for this deck came after I saw Bog Glider. I started looking for a Spider-Man and I came up with Elvish Skysweeper. The alternatives were Tajuru Stalwart (considering this 4 colored deck she wouldn't be so bad actually), Kor Sky Climber and Spire Tracer, but also others tbh (from Zendikar for example or something like Advocate of the Beast, Norwood Ranger, ...). At last I chose Elvish Skysweeper. I don't know if he's the best to suit the role, I would have preferred something else, but the major part would have been Spider-Women rather than men. Then I started to look for an aunt and an uncle (Mad Auntie and Uncle Istvan), a Mary Jane (Elvish Eulogist, or Centaur's Herald), an aristocrat (Indulgent Aristocrat, or Arrogant Vampire, Shadowcloak Vampire, Stromkirk Mentor), his costume (Goblin Turncoat) and his son Stromkirk Noble) and then everything else ;)
Mizzium Meddler (Electro), Pit Raptor (Vulture), Primeval Shambler (Venom), Rampart Crawler (Lizard) and Sand Golem (Sandman) are just other Spider-Man enemies, that have nothing to do with this story but, who knows, there could be other stories with other characters ;). I included them when I had just a few cards because of their "synergy" with Bog Glider (not all actually, but 3 of them are mercenaries).
There are some different cards that require other cards of their creature type, like Elvish Eulogist and Gilt-Leaf Palace (elves), Auntie's Hovel and Goblin Turncoat (goblins) and Indulgent Aristocrat (vampires) so I don't think this is very synergic in general, but that wasn't my objective actually.
If you have any ideas, like cards that fit better in the story, cards that are more competitive while remaining linked to the story or lands etc (I think they're currently a bit messed up) I'd be grateful. Also let me know if there are errors etc in the text.
Plot
The plot is taken from the 2002 Spider-Man film, I just copied it from Wikipedia, changed the characters and added something.
