Why we love werewolf's: they don't cost much mana
Why we hate werewolf's: they don't transform that easily
So this is my attempt to make a Werewolf deck where you have a better controle on when they transform.
The splash of white in this deck is mainly used to force your opponent in not playing any spells. This will let the moon out easer and when that happens... well you know what a werewolf is. ;)
The cards I use for this idea:
Instant: Moonmist (transform your humans whenever you want! Most of the time this will be your trigger. Then it is only a matter of forcing your opponent in not playing more than one spell.)
Instant: Silence (used for when the humans are already transformed. Play this whenever an opponent plans on playing more than one spell.)
Enchantment: Curse of Exhaustion (A bit like Silence but more permanent. These cards slow down the game of your opponent. And they wil not like it.)
Creature: Grand Abolisher (This dude protects you whenever it's your turn. No counter spells, no flash and no active abilities that disturb you. Aaahhh, the silence of the night...)
Creature: Hermit of the Natterknolls (Even if your opponent is able a spell it will still be in your advantage. The hermit gives you some awesome card draw!)
When you have the game under controle and your opponent is frustrated because he almost can't play spells, then it's time to let the beasts go. Attack head on with the werewolf's. Boost them with Fortify or Howlpack Resurgence
Even the defence is covered with again Fortify and Moonmist You can always pop in Brave the Sands for additional defence.
Please let me know what you think of this werewolf deck!
Thanks you!
