This is a really control-heavy deck based on delaying every turn until you can smash with a huge Chasm Skulker.

Palace Familiar and Jeskai Sage are great chump blockers and with their card draw, practically replace themselves. They also pump up the skulkers.

Sidisi's Faithful acts as sort of Void Snare but only for creatures, or you can play as a blocker with 4 toughness. Overall, its a pretty good card.

Silumgar Sorcerer is another great utility creature since it can counter a creature spell.

Profaner of the Dead acts like a small Scourge of Fleets most of the time to buy a few turns.

Scourge of Fleets wipes the board clean of enemy creatures.

Other non-creature defense spells include:

AEtherspouts, Crippling Chill, Icy Blast, Reality Shift, Mirror Mockery and Supplant Form.

I feel the rest of the cards are known to be very good so there isn't much need for an explanation for their purposes in the deck.

After playing a couple games on MTGO, with a slightly worse version of this, I have not lost yet. What I mean by worse is my online version does not have ugin, shorecrasher, or a sideboard. Nevertheless, the deck seems to dominate everything I have come across so far.
