Deck still in testing

WIP

--Current Version:3.0.2

Competitive aggro slivers.

Main goal of this deck is to get as many big, nasty slivers out on the field as you can. Each by itself isn't much, as most are 1/1 or 2/2, but add up to being very difficult to deal with.

A brief description of key cards in the deck

Creatures Show

Non-Creature spells Show

Landbase Show

Of course this doesn't cover all of the cards in the deck, but the others are really just utility and can be swapped and/or adjusted to suit the situation. For example, if your opponent is running no artifacts and enchantments, Harmonic Sliver isn't necessary and can be sideboared for something more suited to the situation.

The deck is still being tweaked, and changed. I want this to be a deck that can contend w/ Tier 1 decks on a regular basis. I will eventually add Aether Vials to the deck, and am still working on the sideboard to make sure I can handle the Modern metas. The next test I plan on working with is adding in at least 2 Descendants' Path, maybe more. Being able to guaranteed land at least 1 sliver each turn I draw one for free seems like a great addition. I'll be posting playtest results and changes in the updates below. Thanks for looking and give it a +1 upvote if you like it!

Updates Add

After tonights FNM, made the following adjustments:

Syphon Sliver is being replaced in the main w/ Virulent Sliver. For 1 drop, this adds another pair of cards that can be hit T1, also another card that can sidestep Blood Moon if it is on the board. Deck went 1-3, w/ 1 loss due to me arriving late and missing the first round.

Rounds went Loss, 2-1L, 2-1W, 2-0L. First match went well, with the highlight of the deck catching at 3 health, and going to 1 w/ a thoughsieze. Missed a CoCo draw entirely (4 land 2 spells), but managed to hold back boggles to end the game after 25 minutes swinging for 91 in the air w/ indestructable & lifelink. 2nd match was against a G/W Eldrazi brew, which managed to beat me in the race game 1, but was not able to fire in game 2. Virulent Sliver was boarded in after game 1, but did not appear until game 3, which was won by a 5 sliver swing, opponent had 2 poison counters, and 2/5ths of the slivers were virulent. (10 poison by itself) 3rd match was decided by 2 clutch board wipes against my slivers, both times coming 1-2 turns to lethal. Unfortunate, but well played, as all but 1 of the games were close.

Also considering moving Sidewinder Sliver to the sideboard, as well as removing 1 each of Predatory Sliver & Sinew Sliver. This to allow room for Aether Vials and possibly additional Collected Companys. Once my Mana Leaks arrive, i can test them to see if keeping the blue control in the deck is worthwhile as well.
