Eternalize and Embalm, the most entertaining way to get zombie tokens in standard. Because what is better then a horde of the restless dead with which to beat your enemy down? That's right, a horde of restless dead with abilities to launch at your enemies!

The basic idea of the deck is obvious, let a load of your creatures die in the early game, preferably taking a few of your opponents better creatures with them, and then reanimate them later on, either through their own effects, or by having them called forth by The Scarab God, as its cheaper and will eternalize the embalm creatures, meaning they are stronger and have their fun effects. Also, The Scarab God can steal you opponents dead creatures for added chaos and fun.

As everything revives as a zombie I decided to add Liliana's Mastery and Lord of the Accursed, because sometimes you just have to have the extra power and tricks. Also, Lord can be played earlier then then returned stronger then ever before thanks to the Scarab God. There is a mix of draw and removal mainboarded to help kill creatures I want to steal as well as removing annoying planeswalkers. The draw helps make sure the god actually arrives, as well as filtering out some cards depending how the draws are going.

-4 Dreamstealer, +4 Eternal of Harsh Truths -2 Anointed Procession, +2 Pull from Tomorrow -1 Swamp, +1 Island

I have practised with the deck for a while and I found that I wasn't happy with Dreamstealer. Though the hand hate can be powerful, often it was being hit by cheap exile removal like Magma Spray, rendering my turn three play of little value. I decided to try out the Eternal instead because its already a zombie, so benefits from Lord of the Accursed as well as working well with The Scarab God from the off. The Eternal's abilities give my opponents a choice between 2 damage or letting me draw, which could allow other things to get through, especially if he has been (ironically enough) revived as a Eternal by The Scarab God.

Cards I'm considering if this Eternal doesn't work out so well are Merciless Eternal and Ammit Eternal

I decided to remove Anointed Procession because while I could revive tokens, and it is fun to get twice as many, I often found that I was not playing it, or potentially holding back Liliana's Mastery or eternalizing cards in an attempted to get some value, and it rarely, if ever, worked out. So I decided to replace it with Draw from Tomorrow, to bring back some of the draw I removed, as well as provide another method for getting creatures into the grave. I did toy with the idea of adding Hour of Eternity instead, but given the earliest it could be cast to get one was the same turn I'd like to be casting The Scarab God, I decided against it, given that the god is a 5/5 with a cheaper eternalize ability.

I am currently debating Angel of Sanctions place within the deck, considering the 5 other 5 drops.
