Fairly standard tokens gameplan. I'm still working out the mana base and the correct number of acceleration/fixers to play. I am conflicted on whether or not I should play abrupt decay and would appreciate your opinion. As always, please leave any advice you have.

Took 2nd at our relatively small gameday (35ish) with a record of 5-2-1. Overall, I was very happy with the deck's consistency and believe that with a little tweaking this deck could be quite good.

Match 1: Junk tokens vs. Boros aggro

A very good match-up for me, I won game one even after rolling a 2 just by having big enough blockers that he couldn't attack into them profitably (smiter, wurm token), keeping him on defense all game. The second game I lost by flooding out after a feeble start. Game three was an easy win, with him stuck on two lands for most of the game.

Match results: 2-1

Total record: 1-0

Match 2: Junk Tokens vs. R/G aggro

Another good match-up for me if I can resolve a threat by turn 3-4. I proceded to lose yet another role, and was on the draw yet again. Game one was very close, but I lost to a bloodrushed Gore-Clan Rampager which I couldn't play around. Game two I kept a hand with a lot of gas, two lands and a pilgrim, sadly he speared the pilgrim and I didn't draw a land for the rest of the game.

Match result: 0-2

Total record: 1-1

Match 3: Junk tokens vs. Junk mid-range/rites

After losing my third consecutive roll of the day I mulled down to four to start off the match, keeping three lands and a pilgrim. I thought that I was out of the running until I drew perfectly, dealing with his threats and finally resolving a game changing advent to pull out the win. Game two I kept my seven and a massive parallel lives gave me an easy win.

Match result: 2-0

Total Record: 2-1

Match 4: Junk tokens vs. R/B vampires brew?

I don't remember much of this match, except for that selesnya charm was a huge player on my side. After exiling his main threat this was a fairly easy win

Match result: 2-0

Total Record: 3-1

Match 5: Junk tokens vs. BUG aggro

My opponent and I decided to draw into top 8, which was only possible due to our tiny gameday event. We played for fun anyways and I crushed him in two games, with the usual anti-aggro game-plan of simply playing larger creatures.

Match result: 0-0-1 (or 2-0)

Total Record: 3-1-1\

Cut to top 8

Match 6: Junk tokens vs. Junk Rites

Playing against a slower deck made me switch up my game-plan entirely. The combination of parallel lives and intangible virtue let me pull off the win games one and three, with a loss game two after he resolved two angel of serenity.

Match result: 2-1

Total Record: 4-1-1

Match 7: Junk tokens vs. R/B aggro

Yet another aggro match-up, possibly the least difficult of the five aggro decks I faced off against. I took the match in two games with the exact anti-aggro strategy as usual.

Match result: 2-0

Total Record: 5-1-1

Match 8: Junk tokens vs. R/G aggro

The final match of the night was favorable to me as made evident in game one, where I took the win with the usual creature package. Game two I kept a similar hand to M2G2, with two lands and a pilgrim which he promptly killed. All my draws were 3+ cmc. Game three I kept a mediocre hand and proceeded to draw all the lands which I didn't see game two. I was only able to resolve one creature and he speared me on my upkeep for the win.

Match result: 1-2

Total Record: 5-2-1

More often than not I found myself playing a midrange style of deck due to the over-saturation of aggro in my meta. I removed 2x farseek, which I was boarding out almost every match for 1x intangible virtue and 1x ready // willing. Outside of my poor luck I felt that the deck performed almost exactly how I wanted it to. I am, however, still looking for advice on tweaking this to perfection.
