Jace's Army

Casual Mill

MasterFox

Maybeboard

This deck is more for casual, but I would love to start veering more towards Vintage and Legacy. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

This deck uses the Defender type creatures to help ramp Mana with Axebane Guardian, and Overgrown Battlement.

Fog Bank and Guard Gomazoa meets two very important aspects of this deck, defending Life/Planeswalker, and acting as a Defender.

Ramping Mana allows for huge milling combos from Mind Grind and Oona, Queen of the Fae, as well as raising the tempo for some of the more aggressive creatures and spells.

The Grindstone, and Painter's Servant combo allows an infinite mill and a potential turn 3 win.

Some self input on this deck, I realize some more control may be in order such as Counterspell and Naturalize however I'm unfamiliar with some of the better Counters and input would be great.

Another infinite combo in this deck is the Galvanic Alchemist and Axebane Guardian or Overgrown Battlement with 3 other Defenders on the field. Thus granting an infinite way to tap them. This creates real problems for your opponent for infinite mill with Mind Grind or Oona, Queen of the Fae.

**Liliana Vess will allow me to have access to discarding my opponents hand now.

**Blue Sun's Zenith will give me the card advantage I need to pull out the win.

**Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker allows for a little control on the field and can be put on the field relatively early with the mana ramp.

**Oona, Queen of the Fae allows for me to rid myself of pestering cards such as Worldspine Wurm, as well as give me a great creature advantage especially combined with Painter's Servant.

**Primordial Hydra although seems like he doesn't belong it is a very intimidating card against someone who can't answer it and can get real powerful real fast, even more sore with the ability to ramp mana and bring him out as a 10/10.

**Stuffy Doll was originally a sidedeck card, but was later put in for an answer to intimidate, many of my friends love to play with Bellowing Tanglewurm and mono green.

After playing against my friends all of whom are good Magic players this deck won 8/10 times. Won all the free for all, won 2v1, and won 3/5 1v1.

Overall this deck did really well didn't see Jace, the Mind Sculptor as much as I wanted but that was to be expected with having only 1 in this deck. I used a few infinite combos in this deck a few times, After I pulled infinite Mana it was game over every time, they couldn't keep up with my board presence. Once Consuming Aberration came on the field it was practically game, I did lose a couple times when he flipped control mostly from not having any defense.

All in all, a couple tweaks here and there should make it a great casual deck and definitely one your friends will hate you for if they don't focus on control.
