The deck is designed to pull apart an opponents deck and rid it of all win conditions. Main focus is to get opponent's key pieces named by: runed halo, unmoored ego, or extirpate/surgical. To help power this, we are running some discard and lots of low-cost removal: Path to Exile, Fatal Push, Thoughtseize. We are also running two Field of Ruin, mainly for tron. Search for Azcanta and Serum Visions give us some low-cost card selection. Our planeswalkers: Jace TMS and Teferi HoD help push our card draw and can function as win conditions. We are running Mission Briefing over Snapcaster as it gives us more card selection. While most control decks prefer the extra damage from Snapcaster, we prefer putting a harder lock on opponents. Finally, a one-of Chromium, the Mutable and a few creature lands will be our primary sources of damage once we have an opponent locked.

In the sideboard: Rain of Tears as extra stopping power vs tron and lands. Damping to cut storm and unfair mana decks. A surgical in case we need extra graveyard hate. 4 negates to protect our stuff vs control. 2 supreme verdict for aggro. Leylines for burn, discard, and storm. 2 meddling mage as a gotcha for when opponent sides out removal.
