Main 60. This deck is raw and can obviously use tuning, but on one hand operates as a slower and less redundant reanimator: (1) Access to Chancellor's 3 Chancellor of the Annex and 3 Chancellor of the Dross for opening hand early game advantage, but less recursion (only 4 Animate Dead and 3 Exhume ), no disruption, and some ways to gets creatures into the graveyard from the hand (4 Faithless Looting , 2 Collective Brutality ), or deck (3 Entomb . The main wincon revolves around Keen Duelist and Erratic Explosion . The deck seeks to stick a Keen Duelist on turn 2 with 4 copies in the deck and 6 tutors (4 Worldly Tutor , 2 Sylvan Tutor ). With Keen Duelist on the board, the plan is to use tutors, preferably Worldly Tutor at instant speed, or Sylvan Tutor to put Draco (16 to the dome) or other high CMC fatty on top. Alternatively, with creatures in the grave Noxious Revival or Mortuary Mire can do the job. A secondary play is to cast Erratic Explosion for the same effect. The deck also has some library top deck manipulation to help ensure high CMCs on top, 2 Sylvan Library. This deck is susceptible to graveyard hate, but does not fold entirely. The main wincon can still function, although less effectively, against Leyline of the Void and others.
Sideboard. The deck should be decent against Sneak and Show and Omnitell since I have my own fatties and 2 Ashen Rider in the sideboard. I am hedging against ANT, BR Reanimator, Dredge, other graveyard based decks with Leyline of the Void and Faerie Macabre , and have two Force of Vigor (lots of green cards to pitch) and Ancient Grudge in case of Leyline of the Void and any number of other problematic artifacts and enchantments. Anger of the Gods is for Elves, Death and Taxes, and creature heavy strategies. I also like one Karakas ; makes me feel safer for some reason, Dark Depths comes to mind.
Any help is appreciated on main deck and sideboard, except that I should play blue for library manipulation - you might be right, but not looking to switch at this stage. I am playtesting now, trying to find the optimal mix of (1) library to top deck, (2) discard, and (3) graveyard to top of library. Thanks in advance.
