quick deck from an old Kamigawa pile I ran back in the first Ravnica block.

The idea is to combo Yosei, the Morning Star with any of your sac engines and reanimators to lock the opponent down, and then beat them up with Kokusho, the Evening Star or Yosei itself. The ideal combo is Debtors' Knell + Fireblade Artist + Yosei, the Morning Star , but there are other good ones as well. Filtering to Debtor's Knell is the biggest drawback, even with Midnight Reaper and Treasure Map  , so you could arguably cut Elenda, the Dusk Rose and Bontu the Glorified or possibly Apocalypse Demon for tutors and more filtering. Bound by Moonsilver I chose mostly because since I'm trying to sac anyway, it'll synergize well. Cereal_Killer's suggestion of Fatal Push and Path to Exile have made their way into the sideboard for use against heavier aggro, alongside combos for Solemnity / Vizier of Remedies like Kitchen Finks + Pyrrhic Revival . Memorial to Folly is a generally okay reanimate in my opinion, though apparently it is not on Modo so who knows?

Fetch and Checklands are definitely something I'll be testing with, but since this deck tends to stall on 1 and 3 I think taplands are fine as long as they help stabilize.

A blue splash is also possible for counters, Search for Azcanta  , or more control elements as well.
