This is strictly my first Tron deck, it came about tinkering with the original deck Pauper Golgari Tron by rippinstrider.
Just playtested it on the site, the strictly best it managed to do was
Ulamog's Crusher
by turn 3! So far, it comes across as a fairly tempo deck that you need to get a bit used to. But then it can be rewardingly wicked.
The main killers are
Ulamog's Crusher
and
Greater Sandwurm
.
Llanowar Elves
for much-needed green mana ramp,
Elvish Visionary
provides card draw.
Viridian Emissary
digs only for basic lands, but trust me, sometimes you need them. He also pairs nicely with the
Altar's Reap
, or can be targeted by
Rancor
in early game to land some damage or even
Aphotic Wisps
for less damage (if not playing against black), but card draw for just a B instant.
Expedition Map
can dig for your remaining Tron pieces.
Prophetic Prism
provides card draw and filters mana. Another filter that seems pretty useful (since you cannot get a proper filter land, this being pauper), is the
Golgari Signet
.
Explore
is just great in early game, it is the main reason you can potentially pull-out
Ulamog's Crusher
as early as turn 3.
Wander in Death
is a versatile way to reanimate some bodies (it has only one B in its mana cost) and at worst, you can cycle it when too stuck with your hand.
