This is one of my first decks since getting back to playing Magic in around ten years, and hopefully the start of, let's say, a more serious relationship with the game - when I used to play as a boy, I really barely knew the rules.
Budget was definitely an issue in building this deck, and the very reason why I left out some pretty sweet cards for a Mono-White Lifegain deck like Serra Ascendant and Rhox Faithmender. I'm also not really high on cards that simply end the game with no reasonable explanation like Felidar Sovereign or Test of Endurance, even if it's to my benefit.
But let's get down to business: the idea here is, obviously, to gain - a lot of - life and use Cradle of Vitality, Loxodon Warhammer and Ajani's Pridemate's lifegain-related ability to exponentially pump up my creatures and kill the opponent.
Protection plays an important role here with Brave the Elements, Blessed Breath and Story Circle. I also tried to put in a good number of fliers. And don't mind the Disenchants, as my main opponents use some nasty enchantments which I kind of need to destroy.
The idea for the near future is to swap both Seraphs of Dawn for a couple of Voices of All, and perhaps Blessed Breath for Stave Off, since the possibility of using it in the opponents's creatures makes it a little more versatile. Would also love to swap the Moths for other lifegain-related 1-drops, but the only card I could come up with is Serra Ascendant, and it's a little bit too expensive for me right now.
Anyway, would love some feedback on the strategies, cards I could take out or put in and more. Thanks everybody =)
