Welcome
(Changed the name because most of the time, it feels more like a control deck than a combo deck)UPDATE Jan : Rip Reflector Mage, real MVP in panharmonicon deck ... not sure what to change for him,.
UPDATE 24 DEC: Removed Archangel Avacyn
, she did not do enough for the game plan. We are more all-in on the
Drowner of Hope
now. Westvale Abbey
is up by 2(to a total of 3) for another game winning plan. Removed 1 Plains and Blighted Cataract because we did not really need the draw from it anyway.
Win conditions are clearing the board with Eldrazi Displacer + Reflector Mage
for example. Move through using some
Drowner of Hope
Thought-Knot Seer.Westvale Abbey
Alternate win-con can be of the comboDrowner of Hope + Eldrazi Displacer + Panharmonicon
( + Thought-Knot Seer for instant mill win! or Westvale Abbey
for the big demon thingy.).
Almost every card in the deck has and ETB trigger which can be abused by Eldrazi Displacer and / or Panharmonicon.
More clues, more tokens, more mana, and more bouncing!
-----
VS Aggro:
----Try to react to get
Thraben Inspector,
Reflector Mage,
Spell Quellerand/or
Thought-Knot Seer, if you are able to stabilize using with the before named cards +
Stasis Snare, you should drop your
Cloudblazer
+
Panharmonicon
ASAP after. This is kinda the ideal scenario, sideboarding in
Ceremonious Rejection
+
Revolutionary Rebuff
should do the trick here. The basic gameplan stays the same, you just need to win a little bit more time by using some counters. Since the UPDATE(24 Dec) with more
Drowner of Hope
this became more doable if you mange to get to turn 6. Do not be affraid to waste
Reflector Mage on the smaller things, just try to stay alive.
----
VS Midrange:
----Basically the same idea as vs Aggro, but you should be a bit more restrainted in playing your
Eldrazi Displacer. Stabilizing here should be less hard because they won't rush you down. They also have bigger threats so try to analyze what is really imported. Keep
Stasis Snare for later in the game and try to land
Panharmonicon asap.
----
VS Control:
----I won this match-up most of the time by just using the basic deck. Again, it depends on the type of control you play against. Against
you should be fine, against
something, you should sidein some counters like
Negate to counter their annoying destruction. Against control-heavy
, try to look-out for their counters.
This is my personal experience, suggestions and comments are welcome ofcourse :)
