An attempt to make a more budget version of a jeskai control deck. If you've even a little extra budget, I would probably include at least either the Keranos, God of Storms or a couple Sphinx's Revelation , and maybe two Assemble the Legion . Perhaps it's worth swapping the Think Twice for either Anticipate or Telling Time , and some number of Negate / Mindswipe for Counterflux . Up to you.

Easy places to upgrade would be adding in Keranos, God of Storms , Elspeth, Knight-Errant , Sphinx's Revelation , Ajani Vengeant , Celestial Colonnade , etc. It's really worth, if you can afford it, splurging for the Sphinx's Revelation ; the lifegain can be super important in keeping you alive, and it's not uncommon for that swing to turn the game in your favour. Path to Exile is also an obvious upgrade, along with better lands.

UPDATE: Modern Horizons helped this out a bit. I recommend switching to snow basics, and running 3 On Thin Ice over the 3 Chained to the Rocks . Sometimes this deck doesn't hit its Mountains, and you'd like you spot removal to still be playable. Of course you can keep matters more budget by leaving the snow lands out and sticking to Chained to the Rocks
