Sideboard

This is my take on the upcoming Awaken control archetype, which will probably be tier 2. Halimar Tidecaller is a thing, so maybe the archetype will surprise us and be sick. The deck also gets to eschew playing the normal big threats, as it instead gets to have a ton of interaction spells which double as threats. Note: THIS DECK NEEDS TO HIT LAND DROPS.

The new Gideon is in the deck because it seems like it does a great job beating down and making blockers.

Retreat to Coralhelm is in the deck as a cheeky on-of to help dig for answers with fetches and to make the creature side of Jace better AND to have some interesting shenanigans with awakened lands (can possibly ramp by untapping them, as well as untapping to provide a blocker).

The one of Canopy Vista and Smoldering Marsh are to maximize Exert Influence

If people want to work on this cooperatively, that sounds cool, especially if it spawns an interesting archetype, but I'm likely to be playing some weird Collected Company deck. That said, feel free to test this deck.
