A Sinister Brew (Jund Reanimate--SOI Standard)

Standard BRG (Jund) Budget Competitive Midrange Reanimator

FordPrefect

Sideboard

A Shadows Over Innistrad tested-and-true Jund Reanimator. The "curve" is very top-heavy at 5, hence the number of removal spells used to stall to that point. Combined with efficient removal and irritating small drops, the deck shines when land drops 5 and 6 come along.

The synergy arises from triggering Priest of the Blood Rite's ability as often as possible, from the occasional hard-cast, and more often from reanimating effects. Since he doesn't want to hand around for very long, he combos well with Sidisi, Undead Vizier to fetch for any late-game bombs (Dragonmaster Outcast, or Greenwarden of Murasa). The Pulse of Murasas help stabilize life-totals while fueling the deck even more. They can combo in late-game with the aforementioned Greenwarden of Murasas by looping for some serious life gain. The perpetual beatdown comes via 5/5 flying Demon tokens, 5/5 flying Dragon tokens, or the The Gitrog Monster(Get-wrecked Monster) himself.

This is budgeted! A version that is a little less wallet-friendly would include 2 copies of Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, 2 copies of Kolaghan's Command, and 1 Relentless Dead.

Any further advice or suggestions are welcomed! Please, playlets and feedback- it helps!

Enjoy, and may your games go happily Ever After.
