I am looking to break into modern, but I wanted to make G/W humans deck due to me already having the majority of the expensive cards to make the deck work. I also wanted to see if I could possibly make a competitive deck with
Champion of the Parish
and
Thalia's Lieutenant
. I could use some advice on the sideboard and potential match-ups that could be troublesome for me. I have seen that Engineered Explosives and Chalice of the Void can be a bit of a problem for White Weenie builds so that is why Natural State is in the side board. I was debating if Naturalize would be a better option because I could still play that if a Chalice set at one is played against me.

Champion of the Parish

Mayor of Avabruck
are included in the deck for the obvious human connections and power support
Soldier of the Pantheon
and Kytheon, Hero of Akros
are additional one drop humans to pump my champion and provide early attack support. Plus, if I can flip Kytheon it provides me with additional power and support.
Avacyn's Pilgrim for possible early mana ramp and fixing for getting out a Collected Company on turn 3. I know Noble Hierarch is the much better option, but I do not have the money to get a playset
Knight of the White Orchid is hear for the first strike affect and ability to help with mana fixing if I miss by turn 3 land drop or want to try to get ahead on turn 3
Mentor of the Meek
is included to try and help with providing me with card draw. I am not sure if this card is too slow for modern or if there are better card draw options for me. I have 3 cards in maybe board that could replace this card if needed.
Collected Company is here for the obvious creature acceleration since every one of the creatures in my deck is a viable target
Brave the Elements is a great board protector for spot removal or provide me with the chance to swing lethal when needed
Path to Exile obvious include due to it being the best white removal in the format
