My take on the Startled Awake   mill. While there are some turbo builds, this deck can pull off 3 uses of a single Startled Awake   in hand.

• Turn 2: Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  
• Turn 3: usually a control spell such as Declaration in Stone or other spell to fill up the graveyard for both Jace and delirium for the Manic Scribe
• Turn 4: narset transcendant , +1 narset transcendant
• Turn 5: -2 narset transcendant + Startled Awake   with rebound, mill 13
• Turn 6: Upkeep cast Startled Awake   , mill 13, goes into graveyard, flip to Jace, Telepath Unbound  , -3 Jace, Telepath Unbound  , cast Startled Awake   from the graveyard, mill 13.

Manic Scribes can help clear the last few cards, and any investigating the opponent does through Declaration in Stone puts them that little bit closer to milling out.

Both planeswalkers are very durable due to their high starting loyalty so it will take a dedicated effort from your opponent to remove them with combat damage. The issue is that this strategy is vulnerable to planeswalker removal such as Ruinous Path, To the Slaughter and Sorin, Grim Nemesis , but depending on your aggression, you can potentially outpace or potentially counter with a more conservative strategy. A second Startled Awake   in hand will pretty much guarantee the win barring a counter.

This deck is vulnerable to aggro, as the earliest drop is turn 2, and will usually remain tapped, but hopefully some of the cheap removal such as Compelling Deterrence will keep your opponent occupied long enough to boardwipe or execute the mill.
