Dimir Control

This is my current Standard control deck, and I really haven’t played control much in the past. So far it is really fun and definitely tests creature reliant decks. It has been largely successful against mid-range, but can be shut down by aggro tokens and other control decks.

I’m looking for help, since this isn’t my usual deck archetype.

The thought of Saheeli Rai comboing with Hostage Taker has me intrigued. If I’m splashing red for it, I also think Nicol Bolas would be a fun card to test out.

I really need input on sideboard cards, at the moment I have made a dedicated sideboard for the deck.

This is a paper deck that I put together, so changes I make will reflect when the new purchased cards arrive.
