When I first saw Dead Man's Chest spoiled for Rivals I knew I had to brew around this card. I love being able to manipulate my opponents deck so the only option was what color should I splash with it? I first started trying to make a blue black control list with it since I adore that color combination but red just has better removal.

I took it to our weekly modern tournament and went 4-1 losing to 4color Death's Shadow. I beat Burn, Kiki Moon, RG Ponza, and Jeskai Control. I'm currently working a few minor tweaks since playing last week (I ran 4 dark confidant main but I have since shaved that down to only 2 main)
