Lifegain, baby, lots of it! Basically, this deck uses Auriok Champion and Spike Feeder to constantly pump Heliod with life, while Conclave Mentor doubles the effectiveness (while also allowing us to do things like take one counter off Spike Feeder, gain life, and use the Heliod/Mentor combo to add two back onto it). Theoretically, this could be used to kill the opponent instantly with Walking Ballista on turn 4 or 5. Removal and defense is as creature-based as possible for Auriok Champion, and Collected Company can be used for all the creatures in the deck, allowing me to pick and choose what is needed at any given time. I'm always looking for advice on the sideboard and mana base, though!
