Brawl - It's Party Time!!!

Back again with another deck-tech, Linvala, Shield of Sea Gate. I really wanted to use the new party mechanic and have a brawl deck revolve around it so this is what I developed. What I've learned is that the party mechanic forces you to be an aggro-fast deck, think mono-red that can be Gruul-midrangy with some blue tempo disruption. It can pull it's weight in the mid-range but you need focus on ways to get card advantage to be successful. If you find yourself in turn 15 then you might be in trouble.

Frogify and Nahiri's Binding are great ways to shut down decks that rely on their commander to function. DO NOT FORGET that you can sacrifice Linvala to give your creatures hexproof or indestructible. A lot of people forget about this and will cast Storm's Wrath for me to sacrifice Linvala to protect the rest of of the board. It's worth sacrificing Linvala to protect just a single creature sometimes. Yea the downside is you pay the commander tax, but you didn't lose a card with value built onto it and your opponents removal spell failed. I've used Linvala as a lightning rod strategy for opponents to use up their removal spells so I can cast Skyclave Maul on my Sea Gate Colossus and start wrecking face.

I'll be the first to admit the decks power level can feel low at times because the Arena match maker can be finicky. There are some obvious upgrades for my decks but I purposely keep the power level a bit lower than normal so my opponents decks are around the same level.
