The strategy is to lock your opponent down with Ghostly Prison (and Archangel of Tithes). Any creatures, that would still attack will be stopped by the many (chump) blockers, that are the second line of defense (Doomed Traveler, Death Cultist and Souls of the Faultless). Thanks to Athreos, God of Passage and Blood Artists, even your opponent's attack is likely to put you in better possition than you were before it.

Once you archive this (or in the process), start draining your opponent with Syphon Life (with some help from Blood Artists).
