So Doubling Season is a nuts card and I think works perfectly, at least in theory, with all the +1/+1 counters you put on allies (and allies are also bomb in the first place). I chose Garruk Wildspeaker because his untap 2 lands ability is huge for letting me get out cheaper allies on the same turn early on, his wolf creature token could be doubled if I have Doubling Season out, and my probably already buff allies can be given another +3/+3 and trample; I could even use Mercy Killing on a bigger ally and use doubling season to double those elf tokens and have a huge army given +3/+3 and trample via Garruk Wildspeaker. I have Contagion Clasp and Contagion Engine so pump up my allies, hopefully times 2 with Doubling Season.
