This deck was initially built with the purpose to add powerful green cards with the power of Young Pyromancer such as Maelstrom Pulse and Abrupt Decay. This was of course before Assassin's Trophy was printed. I initially only had this Jund Colors with the effects of Life From the Loam and Raven's Crime providing a constant token fodder for Young Pyromancer. Thru play testing I added white splash for lingering souls to increase threat density and it works well with the lootings, loams, and brutalities. I have since realized that this deck might just be good enough without Loam and hedge a lot of the more aggro matches without it.

The playstyle is a cross between Mardu Pyro and Traditional Jund. You utilize Tireless Tracker to generate card advantage instead of Bedlam Reveler and have access to cards like Assassin's Trophy, Abrupt Decay, and Maelstrom Pulse as well. Opp graveyard hate can be a damper but access to 4 trophies allows us to hopefully clean up their sideboard hate. We also have threats and card advantage that does not rely fully on the graveyard.
