Notes on the deck

With 6 mana, a cycling land and Loam in your graveyard you can Loam twice a turn. In grindy matchups you are a heavy favourite to win from that point onwards.(10 damage with Seismic Assault out)

If you fetch end of turn, prioritize fetching cycling lands, especially if there is already one in the graveyard. Always bear in mind that casting Life from the Loam on Canyon Slough or Sheltered Thicket basically feels like cheating.

Commune with the Gods is a may choose - with Goyfs that sometimes can dig you to lethal.

Fetchland + Ghost Quarter is a tutor for a cycle land, if the matchup is very grindy.

Bob is always on your team.

Compared to traditional Loam decks, there are fewer cards in this list that work from the graveyard. Thus dredging Loam is not always correct.
