Lol thank you very much, i love this build too. all i thought going into this build was, "token deck", and selvala was the perfect fit. back to your suggestion. I was gonna use that one, over one of two enchantments that do the same, except for free, but i like the free untap alot more. Since you brought that one back to my attention. its not to bad, now that i think about it. cause with the enchantments, when she dies, so does the enchantments. As for the Magewright's Stone, its not going anywhere, unless its targeted. Im gonna test it out a bit. See if its truly worth switching out for one of the other two enchantments.

But why run Magewright's Stone when you can run Thousand-Year Elixir. For one more mana it gives your general pseudo haste too.

Well when i was making changes both were considered. I picked the enchantments over them cause the super low cost. But i never gave either one of those artifacts a chance. So i will be testing both out soon.

Another card worth running is Umbral Mantle. Then you can also run Viridian Joiner. Get infinite mana, draw down to what you need, win.

wow thats a neat combo i have never seen this one before. turn 4 infinite mana is not bad at all. you know once people see that go off i might become the targeted player everytime i play this deck, thats not a good thing. im gonna place it into the sideboard for when im up against tougher opponents, in my tougher playgroup.

I ran Seeker of Skybreak and Illusionist's Bracers. Both work with Selvala and when you put one on the other you get an infinite combo.

Sorry, forgot the bracers don't actually work with Selvala herself, I just ran a lot of tap effects.

Illusionist's Bracers is cool theres so many cool things you can do with that card but in this deck it would not work with much cool combo though

Your landbase is a little slow, which is unfortunate as your commander really benefits from coming out as soon as possible. Arctic Flats, Turntimber Grove, Gemstone Caverns and Selesnya Guildgate are all very slow/not reliable early game. I know it isn't usually a nice thought for most people, but investing in your landbase is incredibly important if you think about the fact that with a poor landbase, you won't be playing the better cards in your deck on time or at all. The Grove and Caverns could both be replaced with basics IMO. Caverns is nice, but when there are 99 cards in your deck, it is unreliable that it will be in your opening hand enough to be anything more than a colorless land. As for the dual lands, I'm tempted to say they could be replaced with plains since your commander should provide a surplus of , but obviously things like Temple Garden or even Temple of Plenty would be better than just regular tapped lands with no additional effects.
Other than that, I really like the deck and love Selvala as a commander.

I will not put in more exspensive lands. But you are right on the lands you mentioned in here. They suck indeed. Im thinking about switching them out for lands that dont come in tapped and still cost 1 buck or less to buy. What happens is When i have my commander out and i have a land in my hand that comes in tapped i parley in hopes to land a better land that doesnt come in tapped like a plains or forest. And i will do that over and over again cause i hate the slow lands. Im gonna do some research on lands now thank you for pointing that out.

Growing Ranks Like... I mean why isn't this in the deck?

Growing Ranks is the top recommended card on edhrec.com for this deck. so its funny that keeps getting mentions here. the concept of this deck is based around immediate token generation. because of removal spells, things like Growing Ranks doesn't make the full go around. im about to take Midsummer Revel out for the same reason but if you think about it Midsummer Revel is much better than Growing Ranks. Selvala, Explorer Returned comes out on turn 3 then turn 4 i play another land, then parley. if its a large game, there is a chance i can play a much better spell then Growing Ranks that puts lots of creatures on the battlefield immediately like Hornet Queen, Armada Wurm, or Conqueror's Pledge

I found it on the internet a while ago and just like you i fell in love with it. Unfurtunly its not a real promo of any kind. Someone drew it up and shared it to the world. Ive been looking to make it a card at a web site that makes custom cards, but i cant find any That does this. I would need a web site that i can upload this image to and then that site takes that image and makes a card for me and mails it to me. If you know any let me know.

First off, I don't play White in EDH. I don't enjoy it.That said, I've wanted to build a Selvala EDH for awhile and this was really the push I needed.
The deck looks great! I would probably suggest Trading Post, Springjack Shepherd, Springjack Pasture, etc. (ALL THE GOATS!!!) Don't forget to blink the Shepherd. Also, I'm a little surprised that Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury didn't make the cut. And I understand not running Doubling Season, but why not Primal Vigor?

you seem like you have a nice theme to your deck with the goats. Im not using them cause they are 0/1. I want 1/1 tokens for the combos with Sigil Captain or big tokens or tons of tokens. No primal vigor cause it backfired on me alot with super friends deck, and cards like Army of the Damned

My meta tends to like big armies clashing, so we encourage a lot of groupie feels effects (which irks me as I tend to play creature-light decks.)

yea like most of the cards printed in the conspiracy set such as my commander Selvala, Explorer Returned
May 5, 2015 1:39 p.m.
Hey, this is a nice deck you got there! I have an EDH deck I'm working on that's sort of like this, except it splashes black for Army of the Damned and such. It's located right here: Who's the King of Tokens Now?. +1.

Can't tell if this is budget or not, but if you can get one Mind's Eye could provide some insane draw with your commander. Letting everyone else draw a card is fine when you're drawing 4!

So, I've been toying with ideas for a Selvala, Explorer Returned deck for a while and came op with this:
Viridian Joiner + Umbral Mantle - gets you infinite green mana. Move the Umbral Mantle onto your general and start drawing cards. Get your Fauna Shaman / Survival of the Fittest in play. Draw a bunch of cards then pitch all your creatures to Survival of the Fittest failing to find each time. Then you pitch your Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre reshuffling your graveyard with all the creatures you pitched.
Repeat this process until you deck your opponents.
Although the combo is a bit cluncky, all of the cards have a place in the deck outside of the combo. I know this isn't what the main theme of the deck is drving towards (and a bot costly money wise), but I thougth Iwould share for inspiration' sake.
Also, I would upgrade your Fog to a Spore Frog. I'd also recommend replacing Song of the Dryads with Beast Within.

I love it soooo much +5 if i could, one suggestion is running Magewright's Stone to use selvala's ability twice.
