I really like this +1

My only suggestion would to take out 1 or 2 lands for 1 or 2 more Zenith Flares.

I made mine with Blue instead of Black and also use Yidaro, Wandering Monster as a wrench. Inevitable Flare (Doom-Flare).

I play cycling, and I have found a really great synergy between Savai Thundermane and Void Beckoner. Savai Thundermane can clear the field for you of all the pesky small creatures, and then once you give him deathtouch, it's right in time for the mid game where the bigger stuff comes out. Unfortunately he doesn't have an activated ability, so you can't use it with Zirda here. Another card I like is Fiend Artisan, which has great synergy with all of the cycled creatures hitting your graveyard. I don't even use his activated ability, but he's often at least a 5/5 for 2 mana, which is fantastic for cycling. Again, it's another black card, so the mana base gets a bit stretched. I'm also playing blue for Time Wipe and Mission Briefing. I've been avoiding Yidaro, Wandering Monster because he goes back into your deck and doesn't count towards Zenith Flare. I'm curious to know how you are doing with Zirda. I haven't tried him out yet. I think my deck is getting a bit slow and it's tending to rely more on board wipes and winning in the late game with Doom Whisperer and the flare. The top decks using cycling play with the mana cyclers and try to be as fast as possible.

There are other ways to discard cycling cards more effetely, cards like Burning Inquiry, Goblin Lore or Cathartic Reunion. These are great with Hollow One, turn one Burning Inquiry play Hollow One for free. I know it does not trigger your cycling cards but it makes Zenith Flare and Vile Manifestation huge.

  • I would add Castle Locthwain, if you feel like you need more card draw.

  • While Polukranos, Unchained synergizes well with the graveyard theme, it is a non-bo with Undergrowth and Fiend Artisan. It does provide removal and card advantage though, so maybe a copy would be okay to try out.

  • Clackbridge Troll, in my experience, is never quite good enough. Giving the opponent options is rarely a good thing. Having your big beater do nothing for 3 turns doesn't bode well against neither control nor aggro.

  • I also feel like you want more Lotleth Troll in this deck, as it sort of acts like your Zenith Flare - you can focus on doing what you gotta do, trade away creatures without much care and then BAM a giant zombie to the knee. Artisan does help finding it, but I don't think two copies is too farfetched.

  • You definitely want Glowspore Shaman in there too. She's much better on curve than Gorging Vulture and makes sure you don't miss land drops.

  • How about Cavalier of Thorns?

  • After the companion rule change, I think you can safely get rid of Umori, the Collector without losing too much.

So I did lose to black/blue control/mill yesterday. I think I could have played it much smarter though. I didn't see Ashiok, Dream Render as the must remove threat that he turned out to be. I am more of a basement deck crafter than a serious player. I make too many mistakes. But I'm learning, so I won't repeat that mistake.

I also lost to 2 copies of Zenith Flare but again, I was playing cautiously and trying to set up a dominating board state. I should have realized the clock was ticking.

Zenith Flare seems like a good backup wincon.

Cast Out would give you removal you could cycle away on bad matchups.

Instead of Offsring's Revenge, I've seen a deck use Gate to the Afterlife and God-Pharaoh's Gift. Something to consider.

Oathsworn Knight's counters don't go to The Ozolith when he takes damage. I'm confused as to what about this is a combo.

That said, the combo with blink spells is 100% valid and I really like the idea of Justiciar's Portal as basically a removal spell to untap Oathsworn Knight.

Your deck has strikingly few 4-ofs. You should definitely look into what this deck really wants to have more of.

Neither of your planeswalkers strike me as necessary for the deck. Vraska does some countery stuff, but not many of your creatures have deathtouch. Sure, Vampire of the Dire Moon, but a lot of the time you'd be best served playing Grimdancer as a menace/lifelink and just getting the beefy attacker and the Zenith Flare insurance. Life gain and grave removal are stunningly relevant in this meta. In fact, you have quite a few potential lifelink synergies in this deck- that could be a cool place to take it!
