I like Wort, Boggart Auntie for goblins. Not only does she give you access to black, which can be really helpful/fun, but her built in recursion helps you keep recycling your better pieces too if they get removed. She's also less common amongst the goblin commanders, which can be fun.

She's actually one of the very first magic cards I ever got. I didn't play as a kid, but a friend did, and when they moved their parent gave me a shoebox with some random cards in it. Fast forward a decade later to me in college, and I finally started to play with some friends. It took me a minute to remember where I had stashed those old cards though lol

It depends on your definition of happen. Wort, Boggart Auntie will trigger st the beginning of your upkeep (any cards that care about abilities triggering like that will apply), since having a target Goblin card isn't a condition for it triggering. However, you then have to make the choices for it like casting a spell. Since you can't choose a target, it is an illegal ability and doesn't go on the stack. You won't be able to respond to it or anything, it won't resolve, and it will not trigger again until your next upkeep.

For instance, does Wort, Boggart Auntie trigger on your upkeep if there is no Goblin in your gy so you can in response sac or mill?

Hey lobsternips! Thought I'd jump in and give you my take on what you've got going on. Your noncreature spells look fantastic, not much I would take out, but if you can find a way to fit in some creature recursion in Rise of the Dark Realms or Thrilling Encore with your mass creature destruction in dictate or Killing Wave . Also bounce-type effects like Conjurer's Closet could make use of your etb effects, you'd definitely see some usefulness there. The only problem I see with this deck is its SUPER heavy into red, there are some non-red Goblins out there, but you'd basically be playing a Red deck splashing white and black for support. However, Goblins are funny and mean just like Negan.

Thoughts

As for creatures, I love what you're doing. Lots of synergy, and I love the Goblin tribal theme. Also, love the Kiki-Jiki inclusion, plus with snoop you sorta just win.

Cuts? Show

The only things I would take out are:

• Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin : Because he goes tall, not wide like the rest of your board. Additionally, it takes him a second to really get going, multiple turns/multiple combats.

• Goblin Instigator : Only because he's two 1/1s for 2 mana. Yeah, thats okay. But there are better options out there

Creature Suggestions Show

• Goblin Recruiter : Very good for Goblin decks, worth an inclusion in my opinion.

• Goblin Chirurgeon : Decent if you have enough Goblins in play. Protects your board from most board wipes.

• Warren Instigator : Very good for this deck, basically free cast your Goblins when he connects.

• Wort, Boggart Auntie : Really nice built in recursion on a creature. Would work really well considering the gameplan you have.

• Goblin Sledder : You ever want to ride a Goblin?

• Species Specialist : Nice little inclusion to draw your whole deck when the time comes.

• Munitions Expert : Kaboom am I right?

• Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician : Cheeky little Goblin man. Makes your 1/1s explode when they're blocked.

Goblin Tribal spells Show

• Boggart Birth Rite : Decent little recursion spell.
• Fodder Launch : Synergystic kill spell for Negan, Goblins and making your opponent mad.
• Warren Weirding : Good if you target yourself, and also good if you target your opponents.
• Boggart Shenanigans : Targets players and walkers. Very good when you're ready to wipe your own board.
• Brightstone Ritual : Not really a tribal spell, but very VERY good for mana ramp. Would work wonders with Goblin Offensive .
• Last-Ditch Effort : Funny card, fitting art. Killer with Dictate of Erebos .

Utility Cards Show

• Throne of the God-Pharaoh : If you're going wide, this is a fantastic inclusion. Swing in at everyone and then have them all lose a TON of life.
• Vault of the Archangel : I love Behind the Scenes so much. Very good inclusion. But what if they had Deathtouch and Lifelink for basically the same cost? Worth thinking about lol
• Talisman of Hierarchy : To complete your Talisman set!

Hope I helped some, I probably didn't seeing as I gave more inclusion suggestions rather than cuts. If you decide on doing one thing like "Go Wide" or "Go Tall", adjust your cards to reflect that. Aside from that good luck on your deckbuilding!

Goblin tribal does pretty well in both and it relatively inexpensive to get something decent going. (I'm not just saying Krenko either, Wort, Boggart Auntie is my goblin commander)

If you're thinking voltron you have lots of options there too for a good starting point.

seshiro_of_the_orochi due to the spellslinging theme of the deck, I don't really think a creature sac outlet will help too much in those situations unfortunately. But thank you anyway.

griffstick I do run a Rakdos goblin tribal headed up by Wort, Boggart Auntie. So much more fun than mono-red goblins.

freeze92 I may have, as I looked at a few other examples to try to find a good approach to Korvold Goblins. I was first going to make a more casual Goblin aristocrats build, but I realized that my Krenko, Mob Boss and Wort, Boggart Auntie decks were basically that already, and I wanted to make a more competitive deck with Goblin combo wincons. I just took a look at your lists and they look like a lot of fun, though.
