Chapter 1: My first week

Dear journal, I just pass 7days invisible. Even if nobody noticed me, it is sometime fun to sneak in a house and to observe... well, no details are necessary, they will only seem creepy... When I was in a bar two weeks ago (and not able to order a beer!!), I heard some ugly goblins talk about a summoner called Talrand... maybe this guy have a solution to save me! I will try to learn more about it. But for now, it is bath time for madam Goldring!

-thanks SKDGOOD and funkalunk for pointing out banned cards, my first time constructing a commander deck. -thanks deathbygiraffe for the pointers, i made some swaps, but i didnt make the land changes, as i feel i already have enough non basic land, and im trying to keep cost down, also i dont like transguild promenade and the similar one that you posted, they bother me for some reason. The reason i put it under "combo" subsection is because of the interactions i can have with the spine of ish sah, voltaic key, master transmuter, the isochron septer, the otherworld atlas, and unwinding clock cards. Its just for fun though truly, i like the idea of being able to destroy permanents with the spine, and do entertaining things with master transmuter turn 4-6ish

I need some help with this list. I know the lands need a lot of work, but what else? What about the sideboard? Could this list be competitive at all without expensive stuff like Bonfire?

Took out Goblin Electromancer. I didn't think they were important so I added Index to give me some control for the next 5 draws.
Detain as an option.

Replaced 3x Think Twice with 3x Inaction Injunction. Inaction Injunction helps me stall the game and replaces itself, it works very well with the defensive plan of the deck.
Removed Terminus because I don't want to add more cards in the opponent's library, it's counter productive. Added 4x Oblivion Ring in it's place.

Swords!

-3 Gitaxian Probe, +3 Sword of War and Peace.
Power/lifegain/safety/everything. Can be dropped early... :D

Ulamog and the Vow

I finally got my hands on one of the legendary Eldrazi. Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre is mostly there to prevent myself from decking out in long games. I also added a Vow of Wildness for added utility, politics and synergy with Karona. Dropped Blatant Thievery, while effective it was a pretty boring card, and Alliance of Arms which never work for me... ever.

Pretty much a pipe dream fun deck since the cards are so expensive but it usually wins with Door to Nothingness by 14th turn.

Removed alot of stuff, added more mana rampers so I can get those cards out there faster. Lowered my lands by 1. Took out garruk and one trostani as well.

TheOne4221 suggested me the perfect card : Ethereal Armor, my pimps are even more dangerous now. Plus I'm keeping Detention Sphere in sideboard for now. I can mange to remove big things with Selesnya Charm

Took out the green and black and went straight Azorius with some added Detention Spheres, Cyclonic Rifts, and Supreme Verdicts. Also added a set of Amass the Components.

So I've decided that I want to keep the "splash" of green. I'm going to alter this again to include the cathedral of war, and trying to add in the 2 Collective Blessing.

Well I've run it through a couple of FNMs and casual games, overall it's done very well. It's only lost one match that wasn't against aggro, and that could have been solved if I'd had my Temple Garden

Removed Butcher of Malakir in favor of another Swamp, bringing the land total to 21. It was just too expensive for too few lands in the deck. I think this solves two minor problems with the deck.
Removed Feast of Blood and one of the Carnage Altar to add in Skullclamp, after seeing how useful it can be when using a returning 1/1 creature like Reassembling Skeleton to power your sacrifice engine.
Traded out Doom Blade for Tragic Slip as well.

Removed several cards I believed to be too slow: Guttersnipe (you need a steady stream of spells to make him effective which stopped me casting creatures). Tibalt, the fiend-blooded (he helped but got rid of bits I wanted every now and then). Reforge the soul (was nice but helped my opponents out more than me in most cases). Devils play (ash zealot doesn't like it). Bonfire of the damned (often sat in my hand waiting from early game). Put in some to try out: Reckless waif (nice one drop). Kruin outlaw (to add to the first strike like ash zealot plus when terror of kruin pass appears :) ). Pillar of flame (cheap burn, why this wasn't in first time I forget) + more copies of a few others already in.
