Non-Zombie Grimgrin?

Hey all.
So one of my favorite card of all time is Grimgrin. I just dislike tribal so I’ve never really used him, as that is all he’s looks to be used for in edh on EDHREC. Is there any way to build a deck around him non-Tribal, or is there a nontribal deck he fits well into?
Wonder and Skullclamp would be an autoinclude. You could do some aristocrats style gameplay while grinding through little self-recurring dudes like Bloodghast, Reef Worm, and Bloodsoaked Champion while churning through your deck with Midnight Reaper or Grim Haruspex, draining everyone with Blood Artist effects and simultaneously clearing the board with Grave Pact effects (found a use for Ruthless Deathfang!)
Havengul Lich, Mimic Vat and Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder honorable mentions.
You could include some mind control effects to sac for value. Dragonlord Silumgar and Roil Elemental have a special place in my heart. And while we're on the topic of ETB's you could run a few one-off etb/death guys like Ravenous Chupacabra, Mulldrifter (I believe you can evoke and sac the dude while the evoke sacrifice trigger is on the stack but don't quote me on that) the primordials and Keiga, the Tide Star.

Grimgrin is a great card for deckbuilding as he can be used in so many different ways. I'm currently using him as a finisher and sac. outlet in a combo/control/reanimation shell EDH Challenge: Feed the Grimgrin!.
Great way to start is to use it as a value generator, feed him with creatures that doesn't care about dying and smash face: any self-reccuring creature (Gravecrawler, Reassembling Skeleton); anything with undying or persist (Geralf's Messenger, Glen Elendra Archmage; evoke works too as Riverdare mentioned (Mulldrifter, Shriekmaw); creatures with ETB or die triggers (Solemn Simulacrum); ones that give bonuses from graveyard (Wonder); etc. Also throw in something that benefits from creatures dying (Blood Artist, Grave Pact, Skullclamp, Mimic Vat...).
There are also some possible infinite combos with him if you are into that:
Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Necrotic Ooze + Bloodline Keeper
Flip or Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Rooftop Storm + Gravecrawler.

Grimgrin Voltron sounds awesome. You could still probably utilize Gravecrawler to keep feeding him and then go full jank with Unhallowed Pact to steal whatever he destroys when he's coming in hot. I'll think a little more and post again maybe
