When I first saw Grimgrin, Corpse-Born in an Innistrad booster pack I've imidiately felt in love. I knew I have to make him shine as a Commander. And here he is, in all his beauty!

The deck originally started as a zombie jank pile and slowly evolved in a combo/reanimator toolbox.

The main goal is to value out your opponent, despite the fact that Grimgrin, Corpse-Born is technically a card disadvantage. There's a lot of card draw, recurring, turoring and small synergies that keep the steam going. The deck also utilizes graveyard as much as possible with graveyard fillers, reanimation and flashback spells.

Notable combos and synergies:

These are the three infinite combos in the deck. Depending on what you draw, you can tutor up the remaining pieces.

• Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Rooftop Storm + Gravecrawler (+ Blood Artist) for infinite counters (and life loss).

• The same can also be achieved with Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Glen Elendra Archmage (+ Blood Artist).

• Or the third way with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Walking Ballista + Blood Artist.

The following are definitely not "I win the game" combos, but are a nice synergies a cool intaractions the decks is capable of.

• Living Death + Grimgrin, Corpse-Born, sac all your cratures in response and essentionaly keep your board while your opponent lose it.

• MImic Vat + Nevermaker. This is my favourite, your opponent will topdeck the same card for the rest of the game for mere cost of 3 mana. I know, Nevermaker is not a good card, but it's my pet tech agains some problematic permanents (artifact & enchantments).

• Corpse Connoisseur / Entomb / Buried Alive + Wonder, simple and effective, probably the most common win condition.

There’s also a possibility for some strong reanimation starts with Entomb into Reanimate a finisher of your choice (Sheoldred, Whispering One, Grave Titan, Wurmcoil Engine, etc.).
