Sideboard

Get to turn 3, then start casting spells that give your opponent a headache. Lightning Bolt isn't bad if you're playing 12 copies and you're whacking people with a Geist of Saint Traft. Counterspells are bad in Modern, so I'm mostly playing ones that find me good cards or turn sideways. The black splash is possible since the only card that costs double of a single color is Supreme Verdict in the side, and enables cards that are back-breaking in some match-ups while remaining versatile in most. There are two to four flex spots, which are currently Spell Quellers. I haven't had much chance to test them, but so far they feel solid.
