Creature (1)

Enchantment (2)

This is my casual/modern werewolf deck that I've made with the principle of "I like werewolves, these are some of my favorite werewolves, let's make it work". What I was able to come up with was an aggressive "flood the field" strategy using cheap cards and lots of token generators. Any suggestions are appreciated and I'm in need of help with my sideboard so please tell me what I should put there! :)

CARDS AND THEIR ROLES

Village Messenger   / Wolfbitten Captive   = Turn one threat

These two share the same purpose of the turn one drop. If you're going first and your opponent has no answer, you get a werewolf going into turn two. Village Messenger is especially good for this because he has haste and Wolfbitten Captive's self buff comes in handy later in the game.

Duskwatch Recruiter   = Enabler

His human side has a nice deck searching mechanic that enables you to search your good creatures and his wolf side enables them to come into play easier. Drop him turn two, use ability turn three, transform him and have a cheaper 3(2) or 4(3) drop on turn four.

Mayor of Avabruck   = Lord/Tokens

A classic from the first Innistrad block and a really good lord card. His human side will help out any untransformed wolves and his wolf side helps out ALL your creatures (human werewolves are still werewolves) on top of making sweet sweet tokens (that he also buffs).

Geier Reach Bandit   = Enabler

At 3/2 for 3 with haste, the bandit is pretty good as a human. Her real advantage comes from her wolf side. Immediate access to your creatures' better half is awesome, but especially for...

Huntmaster of the Fells   = The MacDaddy

He's still as good as he always was. Tokens when he enters or transforms plus life gain AND burn+ removal from his wolf make him a card that you'll love to love. Combo him with the bandit to get all his effects RIGHT as he enters the battlefield for buckets of fun.

Arlinn Kord   = The MacMommy

Your new (second) favorite werewolf. She can throw down a buff or generate a token as soon as she enters the battlefield (which is helpful to protect her) and on her subsequent turns she can buff ALL your creatures or use some removal and transform back giveing her more access to all her abilities (than any other planeswalker card (and before you say garruk, he could only transform one way)) . Werewolf planeswalker is best planeswalker

Silverfur Partisan = Midrange/control counter

Most people only think of the partisan in terms of its ability to pair with Zada Hedron Collector for a token based aggro, but where the silverfur really shines is its ability to soften the blow on more obnoxious midrange and control strategies. Any sort of creature removal when it's on the board becomes a trade off for tokens instead giving you a little cushioning to rethink your strategy.

Howlpack Resurgence = Sick Buff

I like to think this is an improved version of Full Moon's Rise. Sure it lacks the protection FMR offered with regeneration and at 3CMC, but having it at instant speed means you can drop it during your opponent's turn without having to worry about your transformation triggers PLUS this one buffs your wolves too which FMR lacks.

Moonmist = Trigger/Protection

Best case scenario: Transform your creatures mid combat to surprise your opponent

Worst case scenario: Drop mid combat as Fog

I.E. there's no downside to this card. This one also buffs your wolves too.

Moonlight Hunt = Removal

Since every single creature on the deck (and all the tokens) is a wolf or werewolf, once there's enough creatures on my side of the board this card is an instant kill. Plus it's not fighting! Your creatures take no damage.

Kessig Wolf Run = Home Turf

On the off chance Howlpack Resurgence isn't on the field, you can give a creature trample for just RG, or a damage boost for more of you want. Plus it's a flavor win, c'mon

MAYBEBOARD

Parallel Lives = Infinite Tokens

Pretty standard idea here. Lots of cards generate tokens so why not get 2 for the price of 1?

Vedalken Orrery = Enabler

The trouble with werewolves is worrying about their triggers. By giving all my cards (save lands) instant speed, I can get around that.

Aether Vial

A maybe for its ramping abilities. Plus it doesn't actually cast the card so it syncs pretty well with Werewolves. Only going to happen if I'm rich one day but I can dream

Immerwolf

Just like a cheerleader, Immerwolf encourages all my Werewolves to keep doing their best by locking them in their best form. He's got a nice Lord effect as well boosting all the other creatures and tokens and with intimidate he can be a pretty good beat stick in the right matchup. Out of the deck right now but he could come back one day

SIDE BOARD

Ancient Grudge

For artifact removal

Full Moon's Rise

Sub in for Howlpack Resurgence against board wipes

Vines of the Recluse

Good buff for dealing with flyers

Choke

Classic blue hate because who likes control anyway?

Lightning BoltThe classic. Sub in if I find myself needing more removal

That's all I've got! If you like the deck feel free to use it or modify it or do whatever with it! Just make sure you give me a mention and leave a comment here because I'd love to know :)

Suggestions

Updates Add

Dropping Immerwolf, Uncaged Fury, and Pack Guardian. In favor of upping my Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip and Mayor of Avabruck  Flip got consistency. I'm also adding Silverfur Partisan into deck. At first this may seem weird since I took out my only targeting spell, Uncaged Fury, but Silverfur honestly shines as a defensive measure against control and midrange strategies. He may be sideboarded in the future if he doesn't prove to be useful outside of those decks
