Although this deck as it is now is not modern, it can easily become modern (all cards to make it modern is included in the Maybeboard)
This deck is a lot of fun to play. Basically completely deny any early game by using Counterspell

until you can get some of the creatures out.
If you get a early Esper Stormblade out then that'll help out later once you get a multicolored creature out like Tower Gargoyle or Arsenal Thresher.
I threw in a few precausionary Guardians of Meletis that'll end up counting towards +1/+1 counters on Arsenal Thresher plus all of the artifact lands that will also boost it up.
Then of course you'll get to the heavier hitters like Sharuum the Hegemon

that'll take down good chunks of health.
If your opponent ends up taking out either of the sphinxes, use the combo of Victimize and Sharuum the Hegemon to bring any of them back.
Like I said, this deck is a lot of fun to play, especially early game when you're denying everything that your opponent puts onto the field.
I am aware that this is not a modern deck, I'm just a casual player wanting to know what others think of my deck and see what people think.
Although this deck as it is now is not modern, it can easily become modern (all cards to make it modern is included in the Maybeboard)by just substituting Counterspell with Mana Leak, you'll have the same sort of effect early game. You would also have to substitute Victimize for Macabre Waltz, costs one less mana but you wont be able to pair it with Sharuum the Hegemon as well unless you discard an artifact creature, which could work better if you want to get some of the 8 mana drops out without spending the mana. And then of course switch out the artifact lands for regular ones, it'll effect both Arsenal Thresher
