A Modern Stax control deck.

The idea is to completely lock down your opponent and prevent them from doing anything.

Magus of the Tabernacle, World Queller, Ghostly Prison and Chalice of the Void bring your opponent to a stand still, with Chalice of the Void on one or two counters making most opponents mad, shutting down Deathrite Shaman, Path to Exile, Tarmogoyf, Lightning Bolt, Dark Confidant and more.

Iona, Shield of Emeria locks down most decks and is the all round bitch queen.

Wildfire and Ajani Vengeant make your opponent squeal in anguish as their lands disappear and Crucible of Worlds makes sure you always come out on top.

The mana accelerators push the efficiency to a mean and highly effective level.
