Wtf Phage is a WHOREable commander you can never play it! If its your commander you will never have the option to play it from your hand.

Looks like a fun deck! Maybe Lashwrithe ?

There is only one way this is possible, with platinum angel on the field. This makes the deck extremely weak and you can lose easily. Your command zone isn't a part of the deck so that doesn't work.

There are 2 more ways in the deck: Topor Orb and Sundial of the Infinite.

Despite that, though, she still is a bad commander. Just because there are a total of 3 ways to get her out doesn't change that.

Actually, I can also counter her and get her from graveyard to hand.

You're going all out with that Koskun Falls ...Oh, yeah. And the Nether Void . This looks solid, but I still think you need to find more ways to play/counter/remove Phage's ability in order for her to be consistent. All things aside, this is hilarious.

I agree, haters be damned. To all those saying it can't be done, trust me, it can. Black has enough tutors to find multiple ways of preventing Phage's ability from killing you.

I know someone with a Phage deck and he includes Lethal Vapors for (I imagine) the same reason you would: Your deck includes few creatures compared to most commander decks.

when a commander dies it goes to the commander area not the grave

It's owner has decision of where it goes.

No Platinum Angel ? Seems like another good option (next to the Sundial and the Orb) to get Phage out. Also, if you're in a bind you can play it and Abyssal Persecutor and hope to confuse your opponents to death.

I agree with Casey4321, I would suggest Rogue's Passage . Just one more way to get Phage through.

Crypt Ghast cannot be used in this deck. Extort requires a white/black general.

Crypt Ghast is fine, the White in extort does not count as Color Identity because it is between ( )

I think you could use another General, move Phage to mainboard, and use ways to tutor for her as a win condition. But the overall idea of using her gets +1 alone. You are crazy!

Why is Phage your general? When you play it you lose the game...

There are things that prevent that from happening. Read the comments. Btw, awesome deck. I've been wanting to build my own for a while

OK so you're relying on Platinum Angel and Torpor Orb to get Phage into play. Did I get that right? Are there any other cards you're using that I missed? Is that really consistent enough for you? And seriously why not just mention that in the Deck Description section to stop confusing people lol

How about adding Phyrexian Arena ? And, while you're already relying on Torpor Orb as a crucial part of your deck's combo, why not add some other sweet bombs that work well with it? For example, Phyrexian Dreadnought . Oh baby that would be sweet.

Sundial of the Infinite also works for getting Phage into play. You let her resolve, then end the turn while her ETB trigger is on the stack, countering it.

Here's what I would add:

Sensei's Divining Top , Sol Ring , Relic of Progenitus , Fleshbag Marauder , Skullclamp , Gravecrawler , Bloodghast , Hero's Downfall , Lord of the Void , Strip Mine , Phyrexian Tower , Hymn to Tourach . These all add consistency to a somewhat combo deck that has little chance of working according to planned.

Also, I would remove the following cards because they lack significant impact or simply help the opponnent too much: Maralen of the Mornsong , Dash Hopes , Funeral Charm , Slaughter Pact , Go for the Throat , Wall of Souls , Abyssal Persecutor , Thrull Wizard

@LordSIX: All I read was "I would add these generic EDH staples and remove a bunch of the fun cards". I get the impression from the choice of commander alone that this isn't meant to be a competitive deck but a fun one.

LordSIX also, some of the counterspells are used to counter Phage and later reanimate her...

also, I second Rogue's Passage .
