I wanted to share a Deck of mine (that scoops to unanswered sideboard hate harder than anything I have ever played before) and maybe get some improvement suggestions (especially the sideboard), I played it at a couple of FNMs now and also on MTGO and think its rather unique and a blast to play.
So the Idea is to get a Paradox Engine + Temple Bell
with a couple of Mana rocks on the Battlefield, then Draw your entire Deck and Laboratory Maniac for the Win, if that fails to connect you can just use Elixir of Immortality and just Deck your Opponent instead.
Remand/Cryptic Command are nice to protect you till you get to 5-6 Mana and can Combo off but are not Dead Cards Mid Combo you can Remand an non-Tempel Bell Artifact as you cast it to get additional untaps, same goes with Cryptic Command just return an Artifact to your hand and Draw a Card with 2 additional untaps.
Glint-Nest Crane + Whir of Invention lets you find the pieces you need.
For the Mana rocks, I decided Borderpost is the way to go because that allows to cut some lands which is better for consistency and you can start playing Mana rocks Turn 1. In my first Builds of this Deck, i tried Lotus Bloom and decided that it's not the right choice for the Deck it lets you set-up potentially everything faster but is a horrible Draw early in the Combo. Mind Stone sadly also Didnt make the cut, it is a great artifact with the redraw and all but the UUU-Cost on Cryptic Command and Whir of Invention don't allow any non-blue Mana rocks.
On a side note if I had any Mox Opal I certainly would run a couple if not 4 of those because they enable tapping out for a Paradox Engine and still get it active in the same turn so basically you could Combo off one Turn faster.
Piloting this Deck is pretty straight forward, play some Mana rocks and disrupt your Opponent early on. Don't overextend, you need a couple of Artifacts to play when you Combo off so it is not always a wise choice to just slam all your Mana rocks and then Paradox Engine and hope Tempel Bell will fix it. Sometimes you have to be patient and sit on Cryptic Command/Remand or go for an Whir of Invention on the end of you Opponents Turn. The best way to make an Paradox Engine active is a Borderpost because it just needs 1 Mana so it is in most cases a good idea to hold on to at least one.
The Sideboard was/is though never had to build a mono U Sideboard and I guess it shows but here we go.
Spreading Seas vs Tron and Nykthos Decks, Tron in my Experience is a horrible matchup, Mainboard Oblivion Stone,Karn Liberated,Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger is just incredibly hard to beat for us.
Pithing Needle for Planeswalker or Dangerous Artifacts like Oblivion Stone,Ratchet Bomb or Engineered Explosives
Spellskite for Burn/Bogle/Infect Matchups also Fizzles Targeted removal for Bell/Engine
Negate to switch for Remand vs other Combo or Control Matchups
The other Cards I did just throw in there because I run out of Ideas Vedalken Shackles crossed my Mind but in most cases, I don't have enough Islands to make them work or they just get hit by sideboard hate.
Headache Cards:
Stony Silence shuts off all your artifacts and slows you down...a lot, it's not a Death Sentence as long as it doesn't come in multiples, your Opponent doesn't have a fast Clock, or you can't find your lands, because you can Cryptic Command it back to your Opponents hand and go off.
Pithing Needle on Temple Bell shuts us Down good but luckily can be got by Cryptic Command
Vandalblast/Shatterstorm/Oblivion Stone those will ruin your day if they Resolve, almost impossible to come back in a timely manner after this.
