This deck was built around big early threats. Get devotion up early, drop an Elspeth, Sun's Champion and or an Archangel of Thune early. Later in the game, exile your own creatures from the graveyard with Angel of Serenity to get them back later.

With Boros Reckoner I can have the 3/3 with damage redirect and get him up to 4/4 very quickly putting him out of range of most burn spells.

Running 3 nykthos because the devotion is there. Even if i have only one or two creatures out, it can get me to 5 lands easily, thrown down another nykthos and I could easily have 8 floating mana by my third turn to drop an Elspeth or a few other creatures. Worst case would be pumping 2/1 clerics out with Heliod.

SideboardThis is where I can use some help. The meta out here is primarily black white control.

If its mono black, pull Boros Reckoner and put in Fiendslayer Paladin .If there are a lot of gods, pull 2 Brave the Elements and 1 Celestial Flare for Revoke Existence . Also pull the Martial Law for Pithing Needle due to the planeswalkers that will be in there.Mono white, Glare of Heresy

This is a work in progress, I know it is not a top tier deck but I do not want to play the same nonsense that everyone at my shop is playing. I do however want to make top 8 for once in my life so ALL feedback is welcome with open arms.
